Do You Know Now?

Bellatrix Lestrange. Insane. But so very wondrous. Dead by the hands of someone she found unworthy. Lived for someone she loved to the point of insanity. Bellatrix Lestrange. Have you figured her out yet?

The Department of Mysteries

I was in the room with the veil, looking around. Who was I to duel? Children? Suddenly, members of the Order of the Phoenix appeared, and I recognized one face immediately. The face from my childhood. The face so much like my own. "Well, well, well, my dear, darling cousin..." I whispered vehemently to myself, strutting slowly to him. "Sirius!" I called out, my face twisting to one of barely contained rage. 'The Dark Lord's greatest follower,' he was called. My cousin was no follower of the Dark Lord! He didn't deserve to be called one of the Dark Lord's followers. He mimicked my movement, and it seemed as if all time froze around us. We duelled for minutes, hours, how long was it? Until, one second had passed, and I flung a well aimed curse at him. "AVADA KEDAVRA!" My cousin, my handsome cousin, fell lifelessly into the veil. The effect was immediate. "NOOOOO! SIRIUS!" The boy screamed out, and I couldn't help but start to laugh hysterically. I had broken out of Azkaban, and I had killed my beloved cousin. "I killed Sirius Black! I killed Sirius Black!" I yelled out gaily, turning towards the boy. "What are you going to do about it?"

The Battle of Hogwarts

This was offensive, dueling three children, three children with the inability to cast any practical curse. The battle wounded my ego. The mud-blood was the only one with any capability, and even then, my powers far outshined her own. Two blood-traitors and a mud-blood. Nevertheless, I fought with force. Simply because they were idiots did not mean that I had to go easy on them. Nobody deserved me going easy on them. Easily, I dodged all of their insipid curses, finally getting agitated and flinging a Killing Curse at the Weaslette. She barely dodged it, but her pudgy mother seemed to get aggravated. All of a sudden, the mother stepped in, the ginger and her friends moving back. Her mother yelled out a stupid curse, and then screamed something that I could not hear beyond all the fighting. The sight was comical, though, and I could not help but laugh. How stupid was she? To think that she could best me, Bellatrix Lestrange! My laugh echoed throughout the room. Swiftly, I tilted my head back, continuing to guffaw at the stupidity of the fat blood-traitor..."You'll never best me!" I whispered quite loudly, but she continued to fling curses at me. This went on for several minutes, and then, I started to laugh again. This was hysterical! I laughed as a hex flew at me, but I didn't notice another curse as it rubbed my elbow. All time seemed to freeze. The blood-traitor flew a last hex at me, and I continued to laugh. I laughed and laughed...laughed all the way to my death.

Are You Seeing?

Ever wonder how she got this way? Do you see how she got this way? Bellatrix (Black) Lestrange was once simply an normal, albeit cruel, girl with extraordinary powers. She spiraled into a deep abyss of darkness, eventually becoming a monster. Well, a monster in her own right. One extreme trait of her is her undeniable loyalty, especially to the Dark Lord. As aforementioned, she was his right-hand woman, and she would give her life to save him. One trait that stayed with her forever. While she was a Slytherin and most definitely upheld her family's roots, she was still a girl. A girl forever loyal, even after death.

Are You Dreaming?

A word, used to describe a woman. One simple word that would, inevitably, change the course of her life forever. "Insane." And that, she was. Bellatrix was not a woman to be reckoned with, for her power and her vitality echoed off her like a perpetual aura. But she also had an aura, not as pleasant, continually echoing off her, as well. An aura of craziness. For, after years of practicing the Dark Arts with the darkest man of all, it was no wonder darling Bella became a bit less darling and a bit more maniacal.

Insane - (adjective)
1. not sane; not of sound mind; mentally deranged.
2. of, pertaining to, or characteristic of a person who is mentally deranged.
3. utterly senseless.

Are You Wondering?

Bellatrix (Black) Lestrange. A woman of so much power and significance, a woman that alone changed so many things and ideas in the world of Harry Potter. A woman that almost created Harry Potter for who he was. Voldemort's right hand woman. Married, yet we all knew who was her only love. Not her husband. Not even a man. The Dark Lord. Born to a pureblood family, Bellatrix was deeply immersed in the Dark Arts, and her intelligence and grasp of so many difficult concepts perhaps fueled her later insanity. Because that was what she was. A Death Eater, a woman, and absolutely insane. Bellatrix Lestrange. Do you wonder about her? Does she haunt your dreams, the very fiber of your being? Are you scared of her? Because you should be.
